Make It A Habit

Simple On Purpose

We are plagued by things offered to us to make life easier that do just the opposite.

We are plagued by things offered to us to make life easier that do just the opposite.

In the area of relationships, I often just forget. People I see all the time are easy. But people who aren't part of my daily routine? Not so much.

Am I a terrible person?

I put the birthdays of close family members in my alarms so I don't forget. Life is busy. Once I remember, I'm really good at birthdays. You probably are too.

So we made NurtureNet mostly to remind and record.

It can provide a reminder or record notes about your interactions.

That's it.

There is a lot happening behind the scenes in NurtureNet around reminders. But you shouldn't have to know that.

I was a little worried about how people would respond. It is a simple app with built-in help.

We have plans for other features, but we want to see what you and other users decide you need.

If nurturing relationships becomes another complicated task, people won't do it.

The other part of our simplicity philosophy is to reduce the opportunities for technical issues.

A lot of the "connectedness" we are sold isn't needed that often—and sometimes it creates more problems than it solves.

So the mantra for this app is:

Don't be complicated. Don't cause issues. Save time. Guide people in being better.

We also follow a "don't snoop" philosophy. Your data is yours. We don't want to use it or share it. And you will be able to get your data out.

NurtureNet is simple because relationships are complicated enough.

The tool shouldn't be.

A lot of the time, all we need is a little nudge.
